Maternity Session in the Woods | Wurtsboro, NY
Even though this winter has been pretty mild without a lot of snow, it’s felt long being cooped up inside. These last few weeks have been a breath of fresh air having a few days of warmth to get out and enjoy the woods. A couple of days ago, I got together with my friend Samantha to capture this new journey of motherhood in a maternity session. Her little nugget, a boy!, is coming in about a month and we last minute decided that this week was the week because it was so warm out! So off we went into the woods.
These little shoes were just perfect for our session. Samantha’s brother picked them out. How cute is that?
We had a great time finding spots, catching the sun before it set behind the hills, and got strategic with keeping my boy entertained since I had him with us. He ended up doing pretty well in our hand me down backpack the whole time! Haha. At the end of our session I got a picture of Samantha with one of her kitties for good measure and her husband, Greg, came home just in time to snap a few pictures together. We kept it casual. I wanted to make sure they had a good memory of their life here where they baby would come home.
