The Montour Family - George Hill Orchards Lancaster, MA
I have known this family for quite some time and I am so grateful to call them friends. Nick and Guadalupe are those people that you want to keep around because they are so warm, giving, and energetic about ministry. To have the opportunity to photograph them as well as hang out at George Hill Orchards in Lancaster, MA, was such a treat! And their girls are so sweet.
Imperio Baby Shower - Chocksett Inn, MA
Every once in a while I get to photograph showers for brides and mothers to be. On this particularly overcast day at the Chocksett Inn in Sterling, MA, I had the pleasure of photographing a shower for mother and her baby girl.
The Bonilla Family - Kelly Drive, Philadelphia
You guys, going through these photos and figuring out what I wanted to share, made me realize how important it is to have photos taken of the ones we love and to be able to treasure them. This family right here came to Philadelphia just a little bit before we moved here ourselves and now are moving on, 2 years later, to the paradise island of Honolulu.
Singer Thalita Barros | Worcester, MA
Thalita is a Christian singer/artist in Brazil and is such a sweet soul. Though English isn't her first language we made it through and had fun besides! This is actually my first time photographing a music artist, despite the fact that I have artists in my house all the time. Without having heard her music (it was a last minute session, my favs!) it was fun trying to figure out her style and what type of feel she was going for. I love laughter. It's like people can't hide when they laugh.
Moore State Park 5 Year Anniversary Session | Paxton, MA
Now Jay and Suellen have been married for 5 years and their is love stronger than ever. We met at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA and had a lovely time capturing memories.
Liam's 1st Year - Kelly Drive, Philadelphia
Liam is one of my favorite little guys. His mom and dad met with me over a year ago to get pictures together while awaiting his arrival. Now we have a little guy that is running around and being a charmer with his little teethy grin. When I photograph littles I like to ensure that they just act the way they are and follow them around. My little friend made me run! Without a doubt these portray his little personality and childlike spirit.
The Redding's Anniversary - Longwood Gardens, PA
A few weeks ago, my friend AJ, of AJ Pastor Productions, invited me to come along and second shoot friends of his for their anniversary. We also had the opportunity to go to Longwood Gardens, which is one of the most beautiful places and so enormous! Kara and Jeremy were so pleasant to meet and I enjoyed getting to know them and helping AJ with random stuff.
The McCormick & Lovelace Families - Jersey Shore
This past Sunday I ventured out to the shores of New Jersey to photograph this lively bunch. Each summer these two families come out to the shore to enjoy each other's company and soak in the sun after a year of hard work.
Getting Outside The Comfort Zone
What is it with writer's block or that creative slump that gets us? Maybe you don't think you are creative. Just think about anything that you enjoy immensely and think about the times where you have experienced burn out. How does that make you feel? Don't you just want to pick up and move on? Isn't it hard to just sit there and not be able to get the ball rolling with ideas and plans?
Pennsylvania Youth Challenge in 12 Hours
A lot of what I do is outside of the realms of photography. I spend hours making sure things are running smoothly for those that lead out in different ministries. One of those ministries is the Pennsylvania Youth Challenge. It is comprised of a group of about 28 students who work during the summer as literature evangelists. They go door to door selling books and praying for those who need it. They work hard through the heat and after spending a day with them I can understand why prayer is so essential in their work. It's hard getting the door slammed in your face, even as someone watching from the road!
Family Wedding Reception | Albany, NY
Well it has been a little bit but here are the photos from after the ceremony from my aunt's wedding in the beginning of June. Despite the rain we had a good time and there were a lot of laughs and dancing. With Steve around it is bound to be a good time!
The VinCross Family - Downtown Philadelphia, PA
Being a photographer will always give me the opportunity to know new people, but it is when you get to know more about those people that the blessings really start to flow. Pastor Tara was the one that gave me my current job as a secretary for our church and I have learned so much about small business, ministry, and leadership through the experience that I wouldn't trade for the world.
