I was excited to photograph these four because the last time I did, there were only 3! It has been a while. I was a little daring this time around and decided to work in open sun in this field behind Sholan Farms in Leominster, MA. Thankfully, winter light is lower in the sky so it worked out to my advantage (Any aspiring photographers out there? That secret was for you.) Taking risks, I am finding, really takes things to another level.

Anyway, this family probably didn't mind that we were being warmed by the sun. November days aren't warm! Loved this whole set.

I tried to get these guys to close their eyes for a romantic shot. All corny and stuff. It made them laugh instead, ending with some good ol' smiles.

This little guy was so serious most of the time. Glad we were able to get a little yell of delight out of him. So sweet.

Thank you, Tara and Doug, for coming out to the farm on that cold day. Glad I could stop time for just a bit so you could remember your boys being little. I am sure it goes by fast!
