Country Wedding Preparations | Bennington, VT
Relationships. So often we see so much pain in this world and yet there are still relationships out there that are thriving and growing. Beautiful friendships that stick through the good and bad times. This is a true depiction of the love that God has towards us. I had the pleasure of getting to photograph a milestone in the lives of two people who have this type of deep friendship. While others thought that seeing them together was unpredicted, their love for each other is unsurprising. Both Heidi and Terrence love to have a good time together and don't let pretenses get in the way. They are straight up and real.
I always enjoy meeting up with the guys for a few pictures before the day begins. It is pretty laid back and full of fun. Not sure how many people does it take to put this boutonniere on though. Haha.

Now for some more goodness! The dress!
While getting ready Heidi noticed a bluebird sitting out on a fence post in the field. It sat there for literally 10 minutes just hanging. It is a rare moment being able to see a bluebird and I wish I wasn't so far away so that I could have captured it. I told her it was special since her wedding theme had blue! This photo I took right when she raised her arm up to point it out.

I love the moments of getting into the dress. It makes everything so real for everyone. Not just the lovely bride!

So as luck would have it, Heidi's brother, Alex, got two pairs of pants that did not fit so he decided to wear a kilt!
About ready to go! This house was pretty awesome with all it's exposed wood.
Alex did an awesome job being a bridesmaid. We still aren't sure what he should technically be called. And Heidi's smile. Such a beautiful and happy day.

Such a beautiful arrangement. I loved the "wild" flowers mixed in with the classy. And the colors! My favorite.
