Well love is definitely in the air during this time! I would love to know the story behind June weddings. One of those weddings I had the opportunity to photograph was for my dad's little sister, my Auntie Ames. We aren't that far apart in age so it is pretty awesome to have an aunt that I can talk photography with. Her laugh is contagious and she has such a warm and welcoming heart. When Amy met Stephen, he brought sunshine into her life. He loves to have a good time and I have yet to see his farm with goats! I definitely felt privileged to document the beginning of their lives together. Here are a few photos from the beginning of the day and during the ceremony. Love you guys!

A few months ago I received a message from April letting me know that she was getting married! It was exciting to see the day finally arrive with only a few light showers, but with a whole lot of love and warmth while celebrating April and Brian’s love during the ceremony in Lancaster and then continuing with a reception in The 228 in Sterling. I loved trying to find those early blooms of spring to incorporate them into the day. I’ve never seen a more relaxed bride and it was a pleasure to follow her throughout the day documenting these new special memories.

When I first met Caislin and Kyle, I was in the very church they would become husband and wife. I was sitting with a group of people having lunch when Caislin immediately came up and introduced herself. After a quick introduction and a few words, I remember her saying "I think we will be good friends." She is such a sweet heart and I appreciated her assertiveness and the way that she seemed to take everyone under her "wing." Kyle as well, with his quiet personality, has a very warm heart. When Caislin was telling us about their love story, you could tell how much she adored that he was her best friend.

Together they bought a fixer-upper in the woods which is the hub for Krystal Anita Studios, a web design and photography business, and creating a welcoming space for guests and family.
